CHRISTINE RICE

Christine Rice was born and raised in the Pacific North West. Working mainly in the 3D through metal, plaster, clay and other various materials. She takes pride in her technical knowledge and has recently been applying this to more personal conceptual processes. By using art to communicate the importance of everyday life she has enabled herself to understand more about materials and their ability to convey emotion. Christine has a solo show in Pullman, Washington at the completion of her Bachelor of Fine Arts studio emphasis, with a few additional small group exhibits in her senior year. She hopes to travel and let the local art and nature influence her work while widening her knowledge of material in traditional and non-traditional settings.
